I wanted to share with you the following real account of one of those ‘cape- less Heroes’ who recently reached out to me about the 4F29. He has asked that his identity remain private however he gave me permission to share with you his extraordinary experience. He was an actual 4F29 driver! Imagine that! He had the awesome experience of handling such a heroic vehicle which must have helped save countless lives and land. Please take a moment to read his personal testimony in his own words: “This is the 2nd version of 4F29. Same everything but we took off the foam gun and increased our pump pressure. This truck was obviously surplus but Forest Fire personnel. This was something that everyone worked on. Great truck, but loaded with water I needed a 2 day notice to get to the fire! She did not like anything over 30mph. Lights, sirens, and bikes passed me. I was one of the drivers, and housed her. She went everywhere, slowly. From the Shore, to the Pine Barrens, we’d show up and service the brush trucks with water. She was my favorite.
